The presence of the ocean runs through everything here our Cornish hotel, Oceanside – it is evident in our interior styling, in our colour palette, it inspires our menu and shapes our ethos. But above all, it’s in us! Our team are all self-confessed ocean-lovers who choose to be based here, often rather than anywhere else in the world. You could say it’s in our DNA!

Newquay boasts more sensational sandy spots than any other location in the country. With seven beaches, just within the town boundaries, the ocean shapes our way of life, with wild swimming, surfing, SUPing, coasteering, fishing, kayaking and beach yoga some of the most desirable activities enjoyed year-round from the expansive bay. If staying dry is more your style, though, there’s still plenty to do and enjoy, including simply checking in and hanging out with a glass of something chilled whilst ogling over a jaw dropping golden bourbon sunset.
The reworking of our restaurant and lounging area is ideal for mingling with mates, dining dates, or simply whiling away the hours with a creamy hot chocolate or cocktail.
